We are Sean and Ashley Duffey.  We met 14 years ago at a New Year’s Eve Party Sean hosted. We were friends first which developed into a young romantic love. We spent two years committed to each other before differences led us in different directions. Five years later, fate brought us back together one night out on the town. We were thrilled to see each other and have been together ever since! We were married on a hot, sunny Florida day in 2008 on the beach, with the waves crashing behind us and fifty of our closest family and friends looking on.

 

We have been married for over six amazing years now!  We are best friends and very much in love! Sean is a Sales, Service and Support Manager for a national bank, and is also working towards his MBA.  He strives for success at work, and loves his career working with people and coaching employees.  Ashley loves helping students reach their goals as a Student Success Advisor for Health & Life Science Students at a University. We love to spend quality time together traveling to see a new place, visiting family, or going somewhere warm with a beach. The support of our friends and family has been an amazing blessing; they mean everything to us!  We also have two incredible dogs named Duchess and Buster.  They provide unconditional love and loads of entertainment.    

 

We will always continue to support each other through life’s challenges. One of our goals in our marriage is to grow our family.  Each year brings new challenges and new blessings as we try to do this together.   The years of trying on our own without a single positive pregnancy test, multiple surgeries, treatments, miscarriages, and the overwhelmingness that is adoption can either strengthen or weaken you, and your marriage.  Today, we are stronger because of our journey and we are eternally grateful for everyone’s support through it.  We are hopeful that we will be able to grow our family through open adoption and possibly a gestational carrier someday very soon.  We are so excited to be a family of three or more!

 But until that blessed day when our little miracle arrives...

 We will continue to pray, and be impatiently and patiently... Waiting on Baby Duffey!
